About the Role

Mace is seeking a talented Architectural Assistant to join our design team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering feasibility studies and technical reviews of schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver delegated elements of the developing design as per contract requirements.
  • Ensure training is kept up to date, gaining a clear understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with business improvement directives.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to more junior roles.
  • Develop working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
Requirements
  • A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Be a team player to work effectively as part of a wider team.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD/Revit along with the Adobe Creative Suite.
