Job Summary:
Norse Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architectural Assistant to join our team. As an Architectural Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the design team in the delivery of projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare records of existing buildings and sites.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the production of architectural information.
- Prepare clear and accurate contract documentation.
- Adhere to agreed practice procedures, technical standards, and standing orders.
- Liaise with colleagues and clients in a clear and effective manner.
- Promote client relationships and develop the client base.
- Deal with client queries and resolve issues with minimal direction.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives.
- Travel to other offices and sites as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a similar or related role.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Familiar with relevant construction, health, and safety legislation and risks associated with asbestos.
- Completion of RIBA part 1 and part 2, and working towards part 3.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an architectural-related discipline.
- Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.
- Revit/BIM desirable.
- Professional membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects desirable.
