Job Opportunity: Assistant Civil Design Engineer

This exciting opportunity at Queensberry Design Ltd will see you working closely with our civil design team to produce high-quality infrastructure designs for developers, contractors, and landowners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of flood risk and drainage assessments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of highway designs, including horizontal and vertical geometry for agreement under Section 38 or 278.
  • Prepare external works and private drainage designs.
  • Develop construction details.
  • Liaise with clients and external agencies such as Lead Local Flood Authorities, The Environment Agency, Local Highway Authorities, and Water Authorities.
  • Ensure effective communication with the management team to meet client requirements and deadlines, working collaboratively with the project team members.
  • Undertake further professional development following the business development plan.
  • Utilize software experience in AutoCAD and civil engineering design packages.
  • Knowledge of drainage design software such as micro drainage is desirable but not essential.
