Job Summary

As a Security Officer, you will be the public face of our Security Team, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our sites are safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class customer service to all visitors and tenants, ensuring a positive experience at our sites.
  • Conduct regular patrols of our sites, being proactive in identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Look for opportunities to assist visitors and tenants, providing a helping hand wherever possible.
  • Safeguard our sites by ensuring that all areas are safe and secure, and that any incidents are managed in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with our Control Room team to ensure that all incidents are responded to promptly and effectively.
  • Report any unsecure areas to the Control Room immediately, and take action to resolve the issue.
  • Record and log all non-conformances and emergencies, ensuring that our Control Room team is fully informed.
  • Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies, ensuring that our Centre team is kept fully informed.
  • Monitor and report on human behavior, surveillance, and incidents, in line with our site and company policies.
  • Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorized access by banned individuals.
  • Ensure that radio procedures are always adhered to.
  • Record all events and incidents in our Security Officer notebook, ensuring that our policies are always adhered to.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

  • Take ownership of all situations, ensuring that tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.
