Job Summary

Abm is seeking a highly motivated and professional Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be the public face of our Security Team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants, ensuring a positive and secure experience.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the site, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Proactively engage with visitors and tenants, offering assistance and support as needed.
  • Safeguard the site by ensuring all areas are secure and free from potential threats.
  • Manage incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the control room to ensure effective communication and response to security incidents.
  • Report any unsecure areas or incidents to the control room immediately.
  • Record and log all non-conformances and emergencies.
  • Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies, ensuring the site team is informed and supported.
  • Monitor and report suspicious behavior, ensuring the site remains a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintain vigilance and prevent unauthorized access by banned individuals.
  • Ensure radio procedures are always followed.
  • Record all events and incidents in the Security Officer notebook, adhering to company policies.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid SIA Licence.
  • Have a 5-year checkable background.
  • Be over the age of 18 years.
  • Provide documentation demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK.
