About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Security Team as a Security Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and premises.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants within the shopping centre.
  2. Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, identifying and addressing any potential security risks.
  3. Proactively engage with customers, offering assistance and support whenever possible.
  4. Ensure all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  5. Liaise with the site control room to respond to incidents and ensure colleagues are fully briefed and supported.
  6. Report any unsecure areas of the site to the control room immediately and take action to resolve.
  7. Record and log all non-conformances and emergencies with the control room operatives.
  8. Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies, keeping the Centre team informed.
  9. Monitor and report suspicious activity, ensuring the site remains a safe and secure environment.
  10. Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorized access by banned individuals.
  11. Adhere to radio procedures and ensure all events/incidents are recorded in the Security Officer notebook correctly.
  12. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
