Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Senior Events Manager to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team. Reporting to the Head of Events, you will lead a team of three in delivering our annual events program, which includes the NCSC's flagship conference and various large-scale internal and external events throughout the year.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing the planning and execution of event marketing strategies utilizing various channels.
  • Creating comprehensive communication plans and producing engaging web and email content while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Managing delegate logistics, including audience identification, invitation handling, application processes, and onsite registration.
  • Coordinating the sponsorship campaign in collaboration with our events delivery partner and senior communications leadership.
  • Leading the recruitment and approval process for sponsors and exhibitors, significantly contributing to the event budget.
  • Ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of internal and external events at various locations.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will oversee critical aspects of the CYBERUK event project, focusing on sponsor and exhibitor evaluation coordination, and interactions with NCSC and our event delivery partner.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in events management or events-focused account management.
  • A strong interest in event management and marketing, particularly within the technology and cybersecurity sectors.
  • Experience in line management or mentoring, with a demonstrated record of team development.
  • Proficiency in event management tools and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Understanding of budgeting and cost management, with the ability to manage third-party vendors effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
