Salary: £56,000 per annum + Benefits

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's close-knit team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services
  • Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure plant safety and reliability
  • Dealing with pneumatics, inverters, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, inverters, sensors
  • Project engineering - hands-on equipment upgrades and continuous improvements
  • Utilise the CMMS systems fully and assist in its development

Requirements:

  • Must be an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias
  • Previously have worked in food or FMCG manufacturing/production
  • Electrical safety and LOTO experience in an industrial environment
  • Qualified to HNC/HND level preferably or NVQ Level 3 Engineering as a minimum
  • MUST have completed a UK-based time-served apprenticeship
  • Able to work well under pressure in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Positive and driven character
  • Knowledge of continuous improvements and project work
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualified ideally
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems
