About the Role:

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting teachers in implementing behaviour management strategies, providing one-on-one support to students facing behavioural challenges, and collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to develop tailored intervention plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in executing effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Provide individualized support to students experiencing behavioural difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other specialists to create personalized intervention strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of students and cultivate a positive school culture.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application within a school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Qualifications in education or psychology are advantageous.
