About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join a welcoming school in Bournemouth. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in implementing behaviour management strategies and supporting students in achieving their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive student behaviour.
  • Provide focused support to students to help them improve their behaviour.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with crisis situations to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people, especially in handling challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to work well with a team of different professionals.
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude when supporting students.
