Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Software Developer to join our team at re&m. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing software and bespoke mathematical models using C++.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software and mathematical models using C++
  • Collaborate with physicists and engineers to design and implement mathematical models
  • Implement numerical methods and algorithms to solve complex problems
  • Contribute to the development of our software engineering team

Requirements:

  • 1st Class degree or PhD in Physics or Astronomy modelling
  • Strong maths and numerical methods skills
  • Experience with C++ and finite element methods
  • Previous development experience in C#, Python, Java, or Matlab
