Accident and Emergency Nurse

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT). As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients at home, avoiding hospital admission and promoting positive risk-taking.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, implement, plan, and review complex needs and packages of care in partnership with patients, carers, and multi-professional agencies.
- Provide holistic care and demonstrate positive leadership skills, working within the framework of the CCRT.
- Undertake comprehensive risk assessments of all situations associated with the care of patients to ensure the safety of patients, carers, and team members.
- Report and record all incidents and near misses relating to health, safety, security, fire, physical violence, aggression, and verbal abuse.
- Be responsible for ordering, monitoring, and authorising suitable equipment within individual competence.
- Maintain accurate records, which are confidential, up to date, legible, and that all care given has to be documented.
- Monitor and maintain the health, safety, and security of self and others.
- Act as a clinical advisor on healthcare issues within their area of expertise.
- Undertake health promotion whenever possible to all age groups and contribute to planned health promotion activities.
- Be involved with the development, implementation, and monitoring of standards.
- Develop links with other professional and voluntary bodies to ensure maximum effectiveness of the service and patient care.
