Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join our Finance Department at Career Cross Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts and purchase ledger experience, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately match, code and enter invoices a month using Sage 50 and bespoke project management systems.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within Sage 50.
  • Process subcontract invoices and export/import invoices into Sage 50.
  • Monthly supplier invoice reconciliation and project costing process.
  • General Accounts Duties, including placing online orders and processing credit card payments and receipts.
Person Specification:
  • 2+ years accounts experience, preferably with Sage software.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • AAT qualified or working towards would be desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 3:15pm.
