About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team at BET365 Careers. As a key member of our financial accounts team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Develop and implement effective processes for asset management, including asset tracking and reporting.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to senior management on fixed asset performance and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in finance system management and internal control.
  • Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders through clear and concise reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fixed asset accounting and management.

Requirements

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in fixed asset accounting and management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and finance system management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and positive approach to tasks and projects.
