Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our financial accounts team at bet365. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset records, including the Fixed Asset Register (FAR).
  • Support the preparation of internal and external finance reporting, including analytical reports for management and external reports for auditors.
  • Process and monitor additions and disposals of fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely recording.
  • Mitigate risk by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with UK Accounting Standards.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on fixed asset matters, including financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in transacting and controlling all aspects of fixed assets.
  • Understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
  • Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
