About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our financial accounts team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consolidate a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to facilitate the year-end process and reconciliation.
  • Provide support to the budgeting and forecasting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective management of capital assets.
  • Process and monitor additions and disposals accurately, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Mitigate risk by maintaining accurate documentation for audit purposes.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests in a proactive and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in transacting and controlling all aspects of fixed assets.
  • Understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
  • Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and positive approach to tasks.
