Business Development Specialist

Job Title: Business Development Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Calor Gas. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in generating new sales leads and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK market
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry experts, manufacturers, and specifiers
- Generate leads from OEMs and establish new partnership schemes
- Research and explore potential new markets to bring to the business
- Qualify high-value leads and larger installs, and assist field sales in the sign-up process
- Educate and gain interest from customers on our Futuria fuels portfolio – Bio LPG / DME, and consult with our sustainable fuels team to set pricing
- Pipeline management
- Attend relevant trade shows and conventions
- Handover of accounts to region/national sales/internal sales once a relationship has been established
- Contribute to the creation of marketing assets to promote Calor and its products to the domestic and commercial specifier community
- Produce management reports as and when required
Requirements:
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Experience working on Excel
- Ability to communicate across a variety of stakeholders
- Able to create sustainable relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Initiative-taking and analytical approach
