At Pearson, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced End Point Assessor to join our team. As an End Point Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that apprentices meet the rigorous standards set by employers and are fully competent in their occupation.
About the RoleThe End Point Assessor will be responsible for assessing the performance of apprentices in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures. You will need to have a deep understanding of the associated apprenticeship standard, assessment plan, specification, assessment instruments, and recording tools.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the performance of apprentices in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures
- Ensure overall standards are maintained
- Follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols
- Report all risks and issues encountered during the end-point assessment to Pearson
- Ensure all EPA reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately
- Support Pearson with any appeals from apprentices regarding assessment decisions
- Hold a current DBS certificate
- Have worked in the industry within the last 2 years
- Have a current assessor's qualification and experience of working as a play work assessor
- Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice
