Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team at Team Recruitment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract negotiation and management, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining successful business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive contract strategies to ensure the company's commercial interests are protected and enhanced.
  • Tender Preparation and Evaluation: Coordinate and prepare tender strategies and enquiries, including prequalification requirements, and evaluate tender submissions to ensure the best possible outcomes for the company.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare and manage contractual documentation, including contract amendments, performance assessments, and the maintenance of comprehensive files.
  • Commercial and Contractual Advice: Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to personnel within the relevant business lines to ensure the company's best interests are maintained.
  • Market Intelligence and Research: Maintain awareness of market intelligence relevant to the vendors providing services to the company and research and resolve commercial/contractual issues as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a commercial or related subject.
  • Experience: Substantial and proven experience in establishing major contracts from conception to close-out with an oil & gas industry operator.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions.
  • Other: High level of literacy/report writing and numeracy skills, with experience in conducting meetings with contractor and operator personnel up to senior management level.
