Senior Contracts Specialist - Operations

Orion Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Specialist - Operations to join their team in Aberdeen. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for shaping, delivering, and maximizing the value of the company's existing and future Operations contract portfolio within Upstream & Low Carbon Solutions.

  • Conduct market and demand analysis to inform contract strategy.
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain Management processes to ensure compliance with governing regulations, with a focus on Integrity Due Diligence, Human Rights assessments, Safety, and Commercial Risk.
  • Lead contract management from award to close-out, minimizing value leakage, risk, and promoting safety.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality stakeholder relationships both internally and with suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Significant experience in creating and managing strategic contracts in the UK, with a preference for those with experience in Maintenance and Modifications, Specialist Engineering, and Production Chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of the UK Supplier market and the importance of establishing and promoting Local Content.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams across the organization.
  • Skilled in developing and utilizing a network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
