Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Administrative Support Officer to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to deliver extensive administrative and clerical assistance to both clinical and non-clinical personnel, ensuring efficient operation of our services. You may also oversee clerical staff and provide necessary support to your line manager.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative and clerical capacity.
  • Educational background at Higher Grade level.
  • Capability to supervise team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in customer service.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills.
  • Familiarity with various procedures and processes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under pressure.
  • Proficient IT skills, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion at all times.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including MS Teams.
  • Possession of a full, valid UK/EU/EEA driving license, as the role may require travel to various sites.

Contract Details

This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 37 hours of work per week.

Location and Work Schedule

The role will be situated within the Vaccination Programme.

The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
