Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Systems to join our Senior Technology management team. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Architect and focus on the following key areas:

  • Strategy: Collaborate with the architecture team to create a comprehensive systems roadmap, leveraging our legacy and cloud-based systems.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of our main business systems, ensuring they meet their SLAs and are available to our teams.
  • Team Management/Leadership: Guide and mentor a small group of engineers, fostering a collaborative and co-operative work ethic and promoting collaboration with multiple parties to maintain a productive environment.
  • Resource Allocation/Budgeting: Work with our delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness of our business systems budget.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams and learning from failures.
  • The ability to lead and make decisions to drive progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders, and build relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bonus: Experience working with ERP, finance, and/or wholesale business systems.
