About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Systems to join our Senior Technology management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our technology strategy, ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems, and leading a small team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our technology strategy, working closely with the architecture team to create a systems roadmap.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our main business systems, ensuring they are available to their SLAs and implementing an on-call strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and co-operative work ethic and guiding them in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with our delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness of our business systems budget.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams and learning from your failures.
  • Ability to lead and make decisions to push forward, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with ERP, finance, and/or wholesale business systems is a bonus.
