We are currently seeking a Managing Building Surveyor for our expanding operations. This role will emphasize strengthening existing client relationships and enhancing growth and technical expertise within the office.

The Building Surveying team is well-integrated with our broader surveying operations, facilitating support and collaboration with over 180 Building Surveying professionals nationwide. This position presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to contribute their skills, network, and personality to a growing team in a positive and professional atmosphere.

Candidate Profile:
  • MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.
  • Commitment to the values of positive, professional, and collaborative working.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for continuous professional development.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to analyze problems and devise solutions.
  • Effective communication skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing opportunities and growth within a specific sector, such as healthcare or education.
  • Compiling scopes of work and producing design documentation.
  • Contributing to project planning and execution.
  • Understanding construction technology and building services.
  • Participating in design team and construction meetings.
  • Collaborating on large-scale survey projects.
  • Liaising with senior colleagues to ensure timely delivery of technical outputs.
  • Conducting accurate surveys independently.
  • Managing personal workload effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Proactive and motivated approach to work.
  • Client care and business development skills, ideally with an established network.
  • Professional demeanor and courteous conduct.
  • IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
