Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy department in Nottingham. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide holistic, commercial advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake building surveys and prepare detailed reports
- Prepare specifications for, and administer, repair and refurbishment contracts
- Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations/preparing exit strategies
- Prepare planned preventative maintenance plans
- Undertake building reinstatement cost assessments
- Assist with coordination of portfolio instructions and undertake other duties as required
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- MRICS (building surveying) with proven experience, preferably PQE in a commercial consultancy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Clean driving license
