Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site inspections and provide expert advice on building design, construction, maintenance, and refurbishment.
- Carry out acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys, and defect investigations to ensure the integrity of our projects.
- Design and oversee works in accordance with established building contracts and current technical standards.
- Manage large-scale projects independently, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of professional consultancy services.
- Apply relevant legislation, including health and safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning.
- Actively promote our services to secure new projects and enhance our brand presence.
- Support and supervise APC candidates to foster their professional development.
- Extensive experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architecture, and planning, with a strong understanding of statutory requirements and technical publications.
- Proficiency in defect diagnosis and report writing.
- Experience with insurance repair projects is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and budgets on large projects.
- Familiarity with CDM Regs 2015, Party Wall legislation, and Building Regulations.
- Strong mathematical, scientific, and IT skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible attitude toward work types.
