Position Overview: Be Personnel Ltd is seeking dedicated Engineering Inventory Coordinators to support our esteemed client, a leading entity in the seafood industry and a prominent producer of Atlantic salmon. This pivotal role is situated within the Engineering Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that engineering inventory levels are adequate and appropriate for the immediate and upcoming requirements of the department.
  • Oversee procurement processes to guarantee cost efficiency and maintain precise and current inventory records.
  • Utilize necessary software systems, including engineering management platforms, to requisition spare components and stock as needed.

Additional Duties:

  • Regularly monitor and report on slow-moving, obsolete, or nearing obsolescence items on a monthly basis.
  • Act as the primary custodian of the engineering inventory and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that essential assemblies, components, and consumables are readily available at competitive prices.
  • Conduct periodic updates of cost data to maintain accurate valuations of inventory holdings.
  • Implement effective controls within the engineering inventory to ensure optimal usage of all parts and equipment.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers and coordinate with the finance team.
