Teaching Opportunity in a Thriving Primary School

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 1 teacher to cover a maternity leave in a Blackburn Primary school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment across Key Stage 1 classes.

The school has recently been graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted and is committed to achieving Outstanding status. As a result, we are looking for a practitioner who can meet high expectations and contribute to the school's continued improvement.

The role will commence after the October half-term and will be a full-time, five-day-a-week position. The Headteacher is open to considering both fully and newly qualified teachers, but experience in KS1 is essential.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality education to our students.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and require all applicants to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS. We also offer free child protection and prevent duty training to all our registered candidates.

Please note that all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
