About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Blackburn. As a fully qualified teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to ensure a strong foundation in learning for the children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Reception Class: Deliver the EYFS curriculum to ensure a strong foundation in learning for the children.
  • Long-Term Opportunity: This is a long-term role with the potential to continue into future academic years.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a parallel Reception teacher, sharing ideas and planning to create a dynamic learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must be fully qualified to teach in the UK.
  • Experience in Early Years: Previous experience teaching Reception or within the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.
  • Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
