Job Title: Intervention Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher to provide focused support to pupils in preparation for their Key Stage 2 SATs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted intervention sessions for Key Stage 2 pupils, focusing on English and Maths.
  • Support pupils in small groups or 1:1 to boost attainment and confidence ahead of SATs.
  • Work closely with class teachers to identify pupil needs and tailor intervention plans.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • A strong understanding of SATs expectations and preparation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage pupils.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
