We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Blackburn. As a fully qualified teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to ensure a strong foundation in learning for the children.

About the Role:

Teaching Reception Class: You will be responsible for teaching a Reception class and delivering the EYFS curriculum to ensure a strong foundation in learning for the children.

Long-Term Opportunity: This is a long-term role with the potential to continue into future academic years.

Collaborative Environment: You will work closely with a parallel Reception teacher, sharing ideas and planning to create a dynamic learning environment.

Supportive Leadership: You will benefit from a strong and approachable senior leadership team committed to professional development and the wellbeing of all staff.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must be fully qualified to teach in the UK.

Experience in Early Years: Previous experience teaching Reception or within the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.

Passion for Early Childhood Education: You must have a genuine passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.

Strong Communication Skills: You must be able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
