Job Title: Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs for junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration with license to practice
  • MB BS or recognised equivalent
  • 48 months postgraduate experience which includes 12 months emergency medicine equivalent to UK practice OR evidence of ST3 EM Competencies
  • Provider status in ALS/ATLS/EPLS
