Job Title: Senior Automation Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Control Engineer to join our team at AutoNeura. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement custom control systems using Python and C++
  • Collaborate with PhD researchers on hardware-in-the-loop testing and control system algorithm development
  • Analyze and optimize control strategy performance
  • Contribute to the development of modular, reusable test and automation software
  • Define and implement project plans, manage milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure reliable test systems are delivered to production
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math, or science discipline
  • 2+ years of software programming experience using Python, C++, or other object-oriented languages
  • 3-5 years of work experience with programming and developing custom control systems
  • Experience with advanced control strategies or machine learning approaches
  • Extensive knowledge of digital and analog interfaces, including GPIB, USB, VISA, TCP/IP, VLAN, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, Modbus, and analog-to-digital conversion
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems and developing application, test, or automation software in an interdisciplinary environment
