English Teacher for SEMH Students

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a therapeutic SEND school in Tameside, catering for boys aged 11-16 with SEMH needs.

The Role
  • Deliver KS2, KS3, and KS4 English classes, as well as some PSHE lessons, to a small group of students with varying abilities and emotional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the school's therapeutic team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
The School

Our school is a Tameside Independent SEMH provision for boys, located in south Denton. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment that allows our students to thrive.

Requirements
  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or an equivalent Further education teaching qualification.
  • Have experience working with students with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of therapeutic approaches to education.
  • Be able to provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK.
