Job Title: Tutor for SEMH Students

We are seeking a qualified Teacher to join our outreach team as a Tutor for SEMH Students. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group tutoring to students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

The Tutor will work with students in various settings, including the school, local amenities, libraries, foster homes, and individual children's homes. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, understanding, and empathetic individual with strong self-regulation skills.

Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Will consider Primary trained teachers or Secondary trained Teachers
  • ECT English Teachers are welcome to apply for this role
  • Experienced in teaching GCSE English & Maths to a range of learners
  • A passion for championing students with SEND
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English & Maths up to GCSE
  • A commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
