Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Freight Product Manager to oversee and coordinate the airfreight operation for Heathrow Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the airfreight product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and manage airfreight product focuses on general cargo, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop pricing strategies that are competitive yet profitable, considering factors such as market conditions, cost structures, and customer value.
  • Utilize transportation management systems to plan and execute freight movements, ensuring efficient logistics operations.
  • Monitor and update freight data using software tools, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations for the transportation of goods.
  • Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL), fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Prepare regular reports on product performance and market trends, providing insights for business growth.
  • Monitor financial performance of the product line, including revenue, profitability, and cost management.
  • Act as the key point of contact for customers regarding air freight cargo product, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Generate leads and manage sales activities related to freight services, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers, securing favorable terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Proficient in airfreight management principles, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and financial analysis related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • IT literate, with experience in transportation management systems and software tools.
  • Ability to lead and manage sales teams effectively, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for contract agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions.
  • 5-year checkable history/clean DBS check, ensuring a strong track record and reliability.
