Job Title: IT Communications and Engagement Manager

The University of Southampton is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the IT Communications and Engagement team, as well as the IT Administration team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage the IT Communications and Engagement function, ensuring effective communication and engagement with stakeholders across the university.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the university's IT services and initiatives.
  • Manage the IT Administration team, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of IT services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of IT-related information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT communications and engagement, preferably in a higher education or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
