Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Integration Specialist with expertise in Azure Data Factory and QlikSense to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to manage data flows and integrations between different systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and performance across our data platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborating with data architects, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data workflows.
  • Ensuring efficient data integration and flow between cloud platforms and on-premise environments.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any data-related issues, ensuring high levels of data quality and reliability.
  • Monitoring and optimizing performance of data pipelines and QlikSense applications for scalability.
  • Documenting processes, data flows, and system architecture for future maintenance and knowledge transfer.
  • Implementing best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality data solutions within tight deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development with a focus on Azure Data Factory.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong experience with QlikSense for data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and T-SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging data issues, with the ability to analyze performance bottlenecks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated data deployments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in the cloud.
