An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a proactive and innovative Office Coordinator within the Integrated Therapies administrative division. This role will involve supporting the Orthotics department, ensuring the seamless operation of all administrative tasks.

A professional telephone demeanor is essential, as daily interactions with patients and their families will be a key aspect of the role. The ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to the evolving needs of the service is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with a willingness to learn the Lorenzo patient administration system.

Key Responsibilities

Providing a flexible, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service, including:

  • Managing patient referrals and pathway-related information, ensuring timely communication with the Clinical Team regarding any discrepancies.
  • Training and mentoring junior administrative staff and apprentices to maintain high competency levels and support the introduction of new technologies.
  • Performing routine administrative tasks independently while assisting team members with a full range of activities, including mail management.
  • Validating and processing changes to clinical diary templates in coordination with system support teams.
  • Overseeing the e-referral and Choose and Book processes.
  • Maintaining the Patient Tracking List (PTL) and escalating unresolved issues to the Clinical Team or Therapies Manager.
