About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at Meadow Bay Villages. As a Food and Beverage Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to our guests.
  • Take Customer Orders: Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drink selections to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Bar Area: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
  • Handle Cash Transactions: Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Assist with Opening and Closing Duties: Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and cleaning the bar area.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in bartending or working in a restaurant/hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations: Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
  • Strong Time Management Skills: Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
