Salary: £11.95 per hour
Shift Patterns: Mon – Fri / Weekends / Bank Holidays / Days
About the Role
As a Culinary Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen area, as well as assisting the kitchen team with various tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all kitchen areas in a clean and sanitized condition, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces, as well as washing dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Properly disposing of waste and recyclable materials according to company protocols.
- Receiving and organizing deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Keeping track of cleaning supplies and informing management when stock needs replenishing.
- Consistently adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Supporting kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including food plating and serving.
- Working efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet the kitchen's needs and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- We are looking for positive, friendly, and energetic individuals with a proactive attitude.
