Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Children's Health Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children aged 0 to 19 years, within their own homes and in the community. You will work closely with the Area Care Team Leader to manage an internal care team, promoting positive life experiences and choices for children who may have short lives.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, developing a team, and building strong relationships with other carers and staff within Lagans Foundation and the families we support. You will also be responsible for promoting the amazing work of the charity through donated and commissioned care streams.
Key Accountabilities- Complete Level 2 TQUK Care for children and infants with heart defects and feeding difficulties.
- Complete induction training and leadership training.
- Manage the on-call out-of-hours calls on rota with the management team.
- Support the Area Care Team Leader with team member supervisions and observation.
- Provide exceptional care, including feedback within dedicated communication channels for staff and managers, and completion of visit records and any other necessary documents.

What You'll BringWe are looking for individuals who hold the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience working with children and young people.
- Clean Children's Workforce DBS (we can complete this application if you do not hold a DBS already).
- Ability to embrace and drive change.
- Positive work attitude and personality to uplift and inspire a care team.
- Good understanding of the Care Quality Commission and what/why it regulates.
- Effective prioritisation and time management.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to build and establish effective relationships.

- Resilient.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.
- You hold or will be willing to or are actively working towards L3 Health and Social Care.
