Salary: £44,000 - £47,000
Type: 3 bed facility

This reputable family-owned organization specializes in providing residential care for children aged 7 to 18. We are currently seeking a skilled Manager with an enhanced DBS on the update service to oversee our new facility.

Role Overview:
As the Registered House Manager, you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional care by utilizing your management skills to effectively lead the team. You will be responsible for the daily operations, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and the facility's Statement of Purpose.
  • Guide and support staff to enhance the wellbeing of young residents, striving for the highest standards of care.
  • Engage in the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
  • Collaborate on a comprehensive training and development program to equip the team with necessary skills and knowledge.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a leadership role managing staff.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in children's residential care, such as a Deputy Manager role.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to obtain a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within two years.
  • A valid full driving license.
  • Proven ability to provide consistent care and support to young individuals.
  • Experience working with children who display challenging behavior.
  • Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to cover shifts as needed.
