Overview of the Position:

Communication and Influence: Foster positive interactions with stakeholders to effectively motivate and support children, encouraging their behavioral development. This role also involves inspiring and guiding a diverse team, including Education Engagement Practitioners, volunteers, and students.

Awareness Building: Actively participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking opportunities to enhance the visibility and reputation of Change Grow Live.

Analytical Problem Solving: Address challenges by carefully evaluating the most suitable procedures or precedents, utilizing advanced analytical skills to interpret practices, ensuring effective and considerate problem resolution.

Performance Management: Assume operational responsibilities to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations and achieve performance benchmarks, consistently striving for excellence.

Leadership of Staff, Students & Volunteers: Provide empathetic leadership in the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, development, and support of staff, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Resource Oversight: Oversee budgetary expenditures for staff, students, and volunteers, adhering to financial regulations and ensuring judicious use of resources.

Volunteer Coordination: Manage the recruitment and supervision of volunteers in alignment with organizational policies, offering guidance and fostering an inclusive environment.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience working with vulnerable youth, successfully delivering Education, Training, and Employment (ETE) initiatives, and achieving participation goals. Relevant qualifications in Advice or Guidance, Criminal Justice, or Teaching. Familiarity with legislation pertaining to the criminal justice system. Strong communication and influencing skills across various levels. Ability to resolve issues through analytical interpretation of organizational practices. Experience in developing teams and individuals to enhance overall performance. Demonstrated effectiveness as a reflective practitioner. Commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
