Job Title: Director, Branded Content and Media Innovation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our branded content and media innovation efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue targets across three established global exhibitions, alongside related launch events and digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and exceed targets
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve exceptional results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze event data and industry feedback to inform business decisions
  • Identify and develop new sales networks and channels to enhance sales performance
  • Develop effective supplementary revenue streams strategies, including sponsorship, advertising, and digital revenue
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news and trends, and maintain a competitive event timetable for effective scheduling
  • Secure representative revenue in accordance with allocated territory, including engagement and customer management of key bellwether organizations
  • Oversee floorplan design to achieve target revenue and ensure effective traffic flow and strategic positioning of key stands and features
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in exhibitions, preferably in the B2B sector
  • Strategic thinking and planning experience
  • Strong business acumen, experience of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong networker with ability to form and capitalize on key industry relationships
  • Ability to absorb current affairs and understand key drivers in the industry
  • Creative and intuitive, with ability to apply market intelligence to create unique visitor experiences and develop intelligent multi-platform brand extensions
