ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a skilled Agribusiness Consultant to join their team in Leeds. As a key member of the team, you will provide independent technical, environmental, and farm business advice to UK farmers and growers, land managers, and related organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural or business-related fields, with a qualification to HND or Degree level. Previous practical experience in agriculture is desirable but not essential. You will be responsible for developing and applying skills across a range of farm business management consultancy services, including strategic planning, farm business reviews, and financial analysis and planning.

Key responsibilities include working alongside other team members to enable clients to achieve their overall business objectives, providing independent direction and actions to improve performance, and growing your knowledge of the ADAS ALM support tools. You will also work with your mentor to upskill your technical and business knowledge, producing technical reports to a good standard with attention to detail.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Agricultural or business-related qualification to HND or Degree level in a land-based subject area.
  • Previous relevant practical experience in agriculture is preferable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, both internally and externally, to influence key decision-makers.
  • Ability to work consistently to a high standard with attention to detail.
  • Creative and solution-orientated with a determination to deliver value to the client.
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel away from home base, including overnight stays, when required.
