About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex needs, including ASD, behavioural difficulties, and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils, adapting to their individual needs and emotions
  • Support within the classroom, utilizing creative strategies to engage and promote confidence
  • Develop and implement sensory and therapy-based activities to enhance learning and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure consistency and familiarity in pupil learning and goals
Requirements
  • Strong creative background in Arts, sensory, therapy, or drama
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
