Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students in following lesson plans, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with tutors to set SMART learning objectives and embed functional skills in English and Maths.
  • Observe students' needs and responses, identifying moments of progress and potential barriers to learning.
  • Record progress on lesson plans and provide regular feedback to tutors.
  • Communicate effectively with students, tutors, staff, and professionals to ensure seamless support.
Pastoral Care:
  • Model a calm, positive, and respectful attitude, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Listen to students' feedback and respond with empathy, valuing their ideas and promoting their Student Voice.
  • Communicate effectively with students using their preferred method of communication.
  • Support students in identifying and resolving matters that impede their progress.
General Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the well-being and welfare of students.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality, adhering to safeguarding protocols when necessary.
  • Comply with all client policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in staff development activities and appraisals as directed.
