Job Opportunity: Head Pastry Chef

Aramark UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at Everton Football Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pastry menus and product requirements
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies
  • Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning rotas, standard operating procedures, and staffing rotas
  • Train and develop a team of pastry chefs to deliver exceptional service and quality
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and third-party suppliers to ensure product quality and stock control
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in pastry operations
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in pastry operations, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Ability to manage labor costs, food costs, and stock management to ensure profitability and efficiency
