Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Criminal Justice Senior Management Team to drive continuous improvement across the department and the wider organization.
  • Lead and coordinate criminal justice change initiatives at national, regional, and local levels, including digital and legislative changes.
  • Research and identify business development opportunities and legislative changes to support service excellence and strategic planning.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with key national and local stakeholders, including the Ministry of Justice, Home Office, and National Police Chiefs Council.
  • Develop and present business cases and professional briefings, providing strategic updates and influencing decision-making processes.
  • Support the SMT in promoting criminal justice services, enhancing performance, and celebrating successes across the organization.
Requirements
  • A degree in marketing, business administration/engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working at a senior level, with a strong background in change management and performance improvement.
  • Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Experience in financial and budget management.
  • (Desirable) Experience in criminal justice, policing services, or public sector knowledge.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of Six Sigma or similar methodologies, and project or programme management experience.
